Rewards and Incentives
A Management 3.0 Bitesize
"Do rewards motivate people? Absolutely, they motivate people to get the rewards."
Alfie Kohn, 'Punished by Rewards'
We all want people to commit fully to the work, to go the extra mile for our team.
And once people are doing an excellent job, we want them to feel appreciated.
We should aim to design a reward system that encourages healthy behaviors instead of driving people to pursue those rewards, whatever the cost. (Remember Enron?) A reward system that provides the incentive to act in the best interest of our team.
In this Management 3.0 Bitesize, you will learn how to design a reward system that doesn't destroy intrinsic motivation and you will be introduced to a playful way of sharing rewards in your team.
Founded by agile management influencer Jurgen Appelo (Inc Magazine's Top 50 Leadership Expert, #1 in Europe), Management 3.0 is a leadership methodology, four books, and a series of workshops given by licensed change facilitators in more than 80 countries.
